A walk in my shoes..

You never really understand a person til you've walked a mile in their shoes..I'll loan you mine so you can see the world as I do

About May 19, 2010

The idea of blogging is new, uncharted territory for me. For being a fairly private, self sequestered individual, this is a big step for me~ opening my world, thoughts, and feelings out there in the open for the world to see and read. We all live such diverse lives, with unique experiences. One can only think, hope, learn and teach from them. My intent isn’t to seek company or camaraderie from anyone that may share similar experiences and thoughts, but to just share my experiences and thoughts with anyone that may take something of value from them to help them in any way possible. I am but one person. All I want is to share what I feel, think and know and help heal those that I can along the way.

I feel fortunate to have met a truly inspirational spiritual guide along my journey of healing. She came to me in the form of my English teacher of all things! Barbara always says that there are no accidents! I was placed in her class no means by any accident. It was a time in my life that the world around me was dark, dismal, lonely and apathetic. With her guidance, I was introduced to the light~ literally and figuratively. She has been the inspiration in my life to seek out positive and exude to the Universe what positivity I want from it. Ask, Believe, And Receive! I thank you Barbara for showing me how to brighten up the cave I was in and to discover all the wondrous beauty, joy and life waiting for me outside of it!

Some of my posts will be excerpts from the assignments from her class. Again, I’m sharing, just to share.
